Rare Disease Research UK are excited to announce the upcoming Autumn Edition of the GenEthics Forum, hosted by the ELSI node scheduled for October 1, 2024, in Manchester.
The GenEthics Forum is a thrice yearly meeting for healthcare professionals and other interested parties to discuss and explore difficult ethico-legal issues arising in the practice of genetic medicine. Attendees bring issues or cases arising from their daily practice to discuss and consider best practices.
The spring edition (8th Feb) was focused on familial cancers and the European Society of Human Genetics edition (3rd Jun) brought together an international forum to discuss challenging cases and research questions; the autumn edition (1st October 2024) will take place in Manchester and will focus on rare conditions.
